You must enter your own prices
This workbook does not contain market rates, RSMeans values, union scales, or PlanQty “typical” unit prices. SETTINGS and BID ITEMS ship with example numbers so the formulas are visible. Replace every quantity, hourly rate, and unit price with what you actually pay or bid, then check every extension against the plans, specs, and your quote file before you submit. PlanQty does not warrant that an estimate will match field quantities or win work.
What is in the file
- Bid item rows for civil work: clearing, excavation, aggregate, pipe, concrete, and paving-style quantities.
- Quantity and unit columns you fill from the plans or a takeoff.
- Unit-price cells that ship with example placeholders — you replace them with your actual crew, material, or sub prices.
- Line extensions that multiply quantity × your price — PlanQty does not insert market rates.
- Job header fields for project name, bidder, and date so a reviewer can see whose numbers they are.
- Excel file you keep and reuse; there is no account login and no recurring fee.

Limitations
- This is an Excel estimating sheet, not engineering, surveying, legal, tax, or licensed bidding advice.
- Every quantity, hourly rate, and unit price in the file is an example placeholder. Replace them before you bid.
- PlanQty does not supply RSMeans, union scale, prevailing wage, or local market rates.
- Formulas follow the shipped sheet structure. If you insert or delete rows without checking references, totals can be wrong.
- The file cannot see your plans, specs, soil, traffic control, or exclusions. You still take those off yourself.
- A completed sheet is not a guarantee of quantities, cost, or a winning bid.
Purchase terms
- Price is $19 USD, charged once. There is no subscription.
- The file is released only after Stripe reports payment_status=paid. Opening the success page is not enough.
- The download link is signed, tied to that paid Checkout Session, and expires in 48 hours.
- Unpaid, expired, forged, or reused tokens do not download the file.
- Single-purchaser use of the Excel file. This is not a multi-seat license and not source-code access.

After Stripe shows a successful live payment, the Excel file downloads from this site. The success page is not enough by itself — payment is confirmed from Stripe, then the file is released.
