How to reach PlanQty
Mail goes to the site operator at the address below. There is no public user account, phone line, or office walk-up. Sending a message does not create an engineering, design, or client relationship, and it is not a request for a licensed stamp.
What to write about
Useful messages include:
- A calculator result that looks wrong for known inputs
- A formula or unit that is unclear on the page
- A default unit that does not match how the field typically measures that quantity
- A usability problem (labels, mobile layout, skipped fields)
- A suggestion for another everyday construction calculation that is missing
- A technical problem with the site itself (broken page, failed calculate control)
Include the calculator name, the inputs you entered, the unit you selected, and what you expected. Do not send a full set of private plans unless a short excerpt is needed to show the unit or formula issue.
What not to send
- Confidential drawings, bid files, or private project documents
- Sensitive personal information (IDs, payroll, account numbers)
- Requests to approve, stamp, or certify a design or quantity
- Emergencies, safety incidents, or anything that needs a licensed engineer or the authority having jurisdiction
PlanQty cannot act as engineer-of-record. For those questions, use the project documents and the licensed professionals on the job.
